A two-sided skill network. Tell Piaar what you offer and what you're looking for — it finds the people whose answers line up with yours.
Free during beta · iOS & Android · No credit card
Piaar is fast on purpose. You're done setting up before your coffee gets cold.
Three to ten skills you can teach, help with, or get paid for. Specific beats generic every time.
Three to ten skills you're looking to learn or hire for. Piaar reads both sides.
10 km by default. Tight enough to actually meet, wide enough for a real city.
Light ask: send a message request. Big ask: invite into your Trusted Network.
Piaar is deliberate about every one.
Other apps match on a single axis: who you are. Piaar matches on two — what you offer AND what you're looking for. The score reflects mutual fit, not algorithm bait.
"Machine learning" finds people who wrote "neural networks". Real understanding, no tag spam.
Two colors, two roles. Teal for what you bring. Coral for what you need. You're never just one or the other.
See matches as ranked cards or as pins on an OpenStreetMap. Same data, your choice of geometry. Tap a pin, read the peek, decide.
Message request first, full connection second. No swipes, no matches that vanish.
No feed, no streaks, no notifications begging you back. The app earns its open by being useful.
GDPR is home turf. The privacy model isn't a bolt-on, it's the architecture.
Five surfaces. One product. Open Piaar when you're at an event, on the train, or just curious who's around. Matches refresh as you move.
Privacy isn't a settings page. It's how the matching engine was designed in the first place.
Every score traces back to the skills that generated it. No hidden weights. No shadow profiling. You see why a match surfaced, every time.
We collect what's needed to match you well, and nothing else. Discoverable-off in one tap. Precise location is optional. Your data leaves with you.
Piaar doesn't ingest public profiles, doesn't sell skills data, doesn't follow you between events. The platform answers to you.
Yes, during beta. We're still figuring out long-term pricing. When that changes, current users will be told months in advance, with grandfather pricing on the table.
LinkedIn shows you who's already in your orbit. Piaar shows you people whose looking-for matches your offer, and vice versa, within your city. It's a different problem and a different shape of network.
Semantic embeddings on both sides of every profile. "Machine learning" and "neural networks" are understood to be neighbors. The score is mutual fit, weighted by skill specificity and category overlap. We can explain any specific score on request — that's the EU AI Act commitment.
Firebase, with EU region pinning. We retain only what's needed for matching. Profile deletion removes your row in 24 hours and your matches downstream within 7 days.
Block and mute are on the roadmap. Today, you can go fully non-discoverable in one tap, and we use OpenStreetMap with optional 1km location-grid obfuscation if you don't want pin-accurate placement.
Yes — Piaar is built in Flutter, so the same app ships to both. Web is on the roadmap but not yet live.
Set up your profile in under three minutes. Start seeing matches the same day.
